Jazz group, with original compositions, formed (2002) by Jeffery Davis (vibraphone), Óscar Marcelino da Graça (piano), Nelson Cascais (bass), Alexandre Frazão (drums). 

 

Óscar and Jeffery are also responsible for the compositions. Both with diverse influences, marked by studies in classical music.

 

The search for a compositional and repertoire consistency is a priority. Liftoff has a direction, a sound that shows the dialogue between, what distinguishes and what unites the two musicians. 

 

Liftoff's music has a strong erudite influence with the intention of obtaining in all the musical, creative details and the search of the elevation of the roll of the composer.
